The Vinařství Ludwig viticulture company continues more than a hundred years’ family tradition of wine makers from Němčičky in Moravia and its production base is in Bořetice near Velké Pavlovice, in the heart of the Blue Mountains. The company produces wines of most white and blue varieties from land wines through quality wines, late harvest wines, selections of grapes and raisins to straw and ice wines. The most demanded varieties are Neuburg, Pinot Gris, Aurelius, and Pálava, rosé cuvée Zweigeltrebe/Pinot Noir and from red wines mainly Cabernet Moravia, André, and Blue Portugal. More than one million bottles under the Ludwig and Archivní sklep (Archive Cellar) brands are designated mainly for the domestic market of shopping chains, but the company exports its wines also to the USA and Far East and it looks for other export opportunities. The wines are regularly awarded at national and international exhibitions and they are nominated to the National Wine Centre of the Czech Republic. The viticulture company is a member of the Wines of Original Certification of the Blue Mountain association.

Apart from their variety pure aroma and taste, the wines attract also with their labels; labels from natural cork are designated for the top series, while for cuvée Inflagranti it is even a wooden label. Grapes for attributive wines are picked by hand, fermentation takes place at controlled temperatures.
